Role Description The Manicurist will perform professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, and basic nail and hand treatments. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients on service options, recommending appropriate nail care, and maintaining a clean, sanitized workstation and tools according to health and safety guidelines. The role involves creating nail art designs, applying polish and enhancements, and ensuring clients have a pleasant, relaxing experience through courteous, attentive service. This is a contract, on-site role based at Calista Aesthetics in Rockville, MD, with schedules that may include evenings and weekends depending on client demand.

Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Nail Care and Nails skills, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, and cuticle care.
• Candidates should possess Cosmetology knowledge and training, including an understanding of sanitation, safety standards, and relevant state regulations.
• Candidates should possess Nail Art skills, including polish application, design work, and an eye for color and detail.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to build positive client relationships.
• Valid state manicurist or cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain) in Maryland.
• Prior experience in a salon, spa, or aesthetic studio setting is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements safely.
• Reliability in time management, adherence to appointments, and teamwork with other staff members.
