Responsibilities
• Perform professional manicure and pedicure treatments with precision and care, including classic, gel, and acrylic nail applications.
• Apply nail extensions using various techniques such as acrylics or other enhancements to meet client preferences.
• Conduct thorough sanitation and disinfection procedures following salon safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable services, and provide expert advice on nail care and maintenance.
• Utilize knowledge of color theory to create personalized nail art designs that reflect current trends or client requests.
• Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, or body treatments to enhance the client experience and support salon sales goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all health regulations related to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and salon safety standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends such as eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, esthetic laser treatments, and hair threading to offer comprehensive beauty services.

Experience
• Proven experience working as a manicurist or pedicurist in a professional salon environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including gel manicures, acrylic application, nail extensions, and pedicure procedures.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures essential for maintaining a hygienic workspace.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
• Basic understanding of retail math for upselling products effectively while providing valuable recommendations.
• Experience working with esthetic treatments such as laser therapy or dermabrasion is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
