Manicurist and Nail Technician

Duties
• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, pedicures, acrylic and nail extensions with precision and artistry.
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail art, color theory, and gel application to meet each client’s unique style preferences.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design, techniques such as dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and industry best practices.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of workstations and equipment while following all health regulations related to sanitation and disinfection procedures.

Qualifications
• Proven experience working as a manicurist or nail technician within the beauty industry; certification in cosmetology or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic nail application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and pedicure procedures.
• Familiarity with color theory, nail art design, and advanced treatments like eyelash extensions or body waxing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their aesthetic goals.
• Knowledge of salon safety protocols including sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to perform multiple services efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
