Manicurist and Nail Technician

Responsibilities
• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care.
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail art based on color theory principles to enhance client satisfaction.
• Conduct esthetic treatments like dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and laser treatments to provide comprehensive beauty solutions.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, recommend appropriate services, and upsell retail products confidently.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends in nail care, hair styling, hair extensions, and esthetic treatments to offer innovative options.
• Manage retail sales efficiently by applying retail math skills to promote products that complement services while ensuring excellent client experiences.

Requirements
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a manicurist or nail technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and extension work.
• Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and advanced skills in acrylic nail application and gel manicures.
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation standards and disinfection procedures.
• Excellent client communication skills to build rapport and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Certification or licensing in cosmetology or related fields as required by local regulations.
• Ability to perform multiple beauty treatments such as pedicures, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and esthetic laser treatments is preferred.
• Strong retail sales skills combined with upselling abilities to enhance revenue opportunities.
• Good physical stamina for standing long hours and working with precision on detailed nail work.

Pay: $260.00 - $400.00 per day
