Duties
• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic applications, and nail extensions with precision and artistry.
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, offer professional advice on nail care, and upsell retail products related to nail health and beauty.
• Conduct additional beauty treatments such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments when qualified.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like nail sculpting or hair extensions, and industry best practices.
• Ensure all client interactions promote excellent customer service by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Skills
• Strong knowledge of color theory to create customized nail designs that delight clients.
• Proficiency in applying various nail enhancements including acrylics, gel manicures, and nail extensions.
• Experience working within salon safety protocols with a focus on sanitation and disinfection procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide clear recommendations.
• Deep understanding of nail care techniques along with esthetic treatments like dermabrasion or body waxing when applicable.
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with retail math for managing product sales efficiently.
