The network positions itself as an independent, cutting-edge platform focused on keeping viewers informed and engaged.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Makeup Artist On Air Talent role based in San Diego, CA. The role involves providing professional makeup and basic hair styling services for on-air talent before live and recorded broadcasts, ensuring a polished and camera-ready appearance. Responsibilities include interpreting production requirements and scripts to create appropriate looks, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of tools and work areas, and coordinating with producers, directors, and technical staff to meet show timelines. The Makeup Artist On Air Talent will interact regularly with anchors, guests, and other studio personnel, offering excellent customer service and adapting quickly to schedule changes. The role may also involve assisting with makeup tests, style updates, and occasional training or guidance for team members on on-air presentation standards.

Compensation $20-$25 per hour DOE.

Qualifications
• Professional cosmetology skills, including makeup application and Cosmetology knowledge appropriate for HD broadcast environments.
• Strong Customer Service skills to work effectively and respectfully with anchors, guests, and production staff.
• Relevant certification or license in cosmetology or makeup artistry, as required by local regulations.
• Experience in television, film, or live event production environments preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as production schedules require.
• Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills, with a focus on professionalism and confidentiality.
