Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of hair styling services including braiding, loc maintenance, extensions, coloring, and haircuts with precision and flair
• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles or treatments
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and products to ensure client safety
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail transactions
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and processing payments efficiently
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and best practices to foster professional growth

Requirements
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry
• Proficiency in salon software like MINDBODY for appointment management and client communication
• Skilled in various hair techniques including braiding, loc styling, hair extensions, coloring, and styling
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
• Experience with retail sales, upselling products, and retail math to support store management goals
• Familiarity with advanced techniques such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, hair threading, and use of straight razors is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating excellent customer service skills
