The Role

Duties
• Provide professional manicure and pedicure treatments, including nail shaping, cuticle care, polish application, and nail art.
• Perform advanced nail services such as gel nails, acrylics, and nail extensions with precision and artistry.
• Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail care solutions and color choices based on client preferences.
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and sales goals.
• Assist with other beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or hair styling when needed to provide comprehensive client care.
• Build strong relationships through excellent communication skills, ensuring clients feel valued and eager to return.
Requirements
• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with a specialization in manicures and pedicures.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nail care.
• Deep knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting flattering shades.
• Familiarity with sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and safe disinfection practices for tools and workspaces.
• Skills in advanced nail techniques including gel application, acrylics, nail art, and extensions.
• Ability to perform additional services such as hair threading, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
• Strong retail sales skills with an understanding of retail math for upselling products effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to educate clients about treatments and foster a positive experience.
