Responsibilities
• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, extensions, and texturizing treatments with precision and artistry
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations
• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, offering expert advice on hair care routines, products, and styling options
• Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing education on hair coloring techniques, barbering styles including straight razors, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care
• Mentor junior stylists and apprentices to foster a collaborative team environment focused on excellence
Experience
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, or nail care are a plus
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse hair styling techniques
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and understanding their unique preferences
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Ability to upsell products confidently while providing genuine recommendations based on client needs
