Licensed Esthetician – Independent Contractor (1099)

Job Overview

Karma Aesthetics & Wellness is seeking a motivated and self-driven Licensed Esthetician to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for an esthetician who is looking to grow their own clientele within a supportive, professional med spa environment.

This is not a traditional employee position—we are looking for someone who is comfortable operating independently, bringing in and building their own client base, and taking ownership of their schedule and income.

While we do not guarantee a full client book, we provide a high-end space, strong brand presence, and ongoing opportunities for continued education, including training on new techniques, treatments, and devices. This is a great opportunity for both experienced estheticians with an existing clientele and newer estheticians who are confident in their ability to market and grow.

Responsibilities

Perform esthetic services such as facials, chemical peels, and skincare treatments within your scope of practiceBuild, maintain, and grow your personal client baseConduct client consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and skincare productsMaintain accurate client records and treatment documentationUphold sanitation and safety standards in accordance with state regulationsManage your own schedule, bookings, and client communicationProvide an exceptional client experience to encourage retention and referralsCollaborate with the team to maintain a positive and professional work environmentExperience

Active Esthetician License (required)Existing clientele is strongly preferred but not requiredConfidence in performing esthetic services independentlyStrong communication and customer service skillsSelf-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindsetInterest in aesthetics, skincare, and client educationExperience with social media or client acquisition is a plusAdditional Information
