The Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The perfect candidate will be fully licensed in Missouri, specialize in deep tissue massage, have a professional appearance and a positive attitude. We have availability for full-time , and can assure you a full schedule (25 hours of massage per week) upon starting.
Available hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am-7:00pm and every other Saturday 8:00am-2:00pm. We will provide the clientele, scheduling, payment collection from clients, lotions, sheets, and space.
Pay will be per massage and you keep 100% of your tips.
We are an integrated medical and chiropractic office with massage clients booked through 2027.
This role requires a deep understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective treatments tailored to individual needs. The Massage Therapist will create a welcoming environment, ensuring exceptional patient service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of tension or pain
• Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices to support long-term wellness
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and patient progress in compliance with healthcare standards
• Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for all clients, adhering to sanitation and safety protocols
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in massage therapy, including med spa procedures and new therapeutic techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide excellent patient service by listening attentively and customizing treatments based on individual needs
Experience
• Proven experience in massage therapy, preferably with med spa or occupational health settings
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage
• Skilled in various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for pain management
• Prior experience with patient assessment and developing personalized treatment plans is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a calming and professional environment
• Familiarity with occupational health practices related to workplace wellness programs
