Responsibilities
• Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions using advanced techniques such as balayage and color theory principles.
• Perform specialized treatments like eyelash extensions, threading, and nail care to enhance client beauty routines.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with state and local regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, retail sales tracking, and retail math calculations.
• Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs, communicate effectively about service options, and recommend suitable products or treatments.
• Upsell retail products related to hair care, makeup application, and skincare to enhance client results and salon revenue.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling, barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications
• Valid Cosmetology or Barbering license issued by the state of Georgia or surrounding areas.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and advanced techniques such as balayage or color correction.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety protocols.
• Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform diverse services including hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions confidently.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Pay: $28.17 - $33.70 per hour
