Licensed Cosmetologist

Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and passionate hairstylist to join our team. As a hairstylist, you will provide a wide range of beauty services to our clients, including hair styling and barbering. Your role will also involve retail sales If you have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of salon software, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you. **Commission or hourly based salon**


Responsibilities:


- Provide hair styling services such as cutting, coloring, blowouts, natural hair services, silk press


- Conduct consultations with clients to determine their desired look


- Recommend appropriate beauty products and provide retail sales support


- Manage the front desk by scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries


- Utilize salon software to manage client information and bookings


- Maintain a clean and organized work area


- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques


- Meet weekly quota


Requirements:


- Valid cosmetology license in the state of Texas


- Proven experience in hair styling, such as shampooing, haircutting and product knowledge


- Excellent communication and customer service skills


- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively


-Ability to market yourself through different marketing channels


- Familiarity with salon software systems is preferred


- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From $400.00 per week
