Premier Barber Company is looking for a talented, professional, and motivated Barber or Cosmetologist to join our team in the heart of Downtown Sacramento on the iconic R Street Corridor. We operate in a unique upscale barbershop and bar setting, serving a wide and diverse range of clientele while specializing in quality haircuts, grooming, beard services, and styling. Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality haircuts, fades, styling, beard trims, lineups, shaves, and grooming services
• Consult with clients to understand their desired style and grooming needs
• Properly and safely use clippers, shears, razors, hot towels, and other professional barbering tools
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation at all times
• Deliver a professional and welcoming experience to every client
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and fellow team members
• Use the SQUIRE booking and scheduling system provided by Premier Barber Company
• Manage appointments and maintain a reliable schedule
• Assist with client check-in, scheduling, and occasional front-desk responsibilities
• Help maintain the overall cleanliness and professional appearance of the shop
• Work independently while contributing to a positive and respectful team environment
• Maintain professionalism and responsibility while representing Premier Barber Company

Requirements
• Valid California Barber or Cosmetology License or valid California apprenticeship license
• Barbering, cosmetology, grooming, or styling experience preferred
• Strong haircutting, fading, beard-grooming, and styling skills
• Portfolio showcasing your work
• Active professional Instagram or similar social media presence preferred
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Comfortable working with a wide and diverse range of clientele and hair types
• Ability to maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment
• Desire to continue improving your craft and growing your clientele

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
