We are seeking a talented and energetic Licensed Barber to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will bring your expertise in haircutting, grooming, and styling to help clients look and feel their best. As a licensed professional, you will deliver exceptional customer service while showcasing your skills in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and grooming techniques. Your passion for the beauty industry and dedication to sanitation and safety will ensure a welcoming environment for all clients. Duties
• Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming tailored to each client’s preferences
• Perform advanced styling techniques such as hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading to meet diverse client needs. Based on your expertise.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations and store policies
• Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail items, and upselling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments with retail math accuracy

Skills
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with current certification to practice professionally
• Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with a strong understanding of haircutting, styling, coloring, and grooming techniques.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a safe salon environment
• Skilled in retail sales strategies including upselling products like hair care items, cosmetics, nail supplies, and retail math principles
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members alike
• Ability to manage store operations efficiently including front desk duties and mentoring staff members
