Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a . This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our barbershop. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in hair care, styling, and barber management, with a strong emphasis on communication and retail sales.

Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality hair services, including hair styling, shaves, fades, and tapers.
• Utilize color theory to deliver personalized hair coloring services that meet client needs.
• Maintain sanitation standards throughout the salon to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Operate barber software such as Booksy for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Assist with front desk duties, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing appointments.
• Mentor junior staff members in techniques such as barbering, and retail sales strategies.
• Engage in upselling products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase salon revenue.
• Manage store operations effectively, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.

Experience
• Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering with a strong understanding of hair care techniques.
• Familiarity with barber software systems like BOOKSY is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
• Experience in retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
