We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Salon Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the salon's operations, ensuring a welcoming environment, and assisting with various salon services.


Responsibilities



Assist stylists with hair services including hair extensions, hair styling, and hair threading.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and salon equipment.
Manage front desk operations, including greeting clients and scheduling appointments using salon software .
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Help with inventory management and store management tasks.
Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on best practices in cosmetology and barbering techniques.
Apply knowledge of color theory in assisting stylists during color treatments.

Experience



Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with salon software is a plus.
Knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking is beneficial.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
