Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. We are the premier blowout salon in Stark County. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, blowouts, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing professional hair services, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and promoting retail products to enhance client satisfaction. Friday and Saturday availability is required for this position. Please note that we are closed on Sundays.

Duties

Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas in accordance with health regulations.Upsell retail products to clients to support their hair care needs and enhance their experience.Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere and ensuring client comfort.Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service and follow-up communication.Experience

Cosmetology license is required. Blowout experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and sanitation standards.Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a focus on client needs.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure a positive salon environment.Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus but not mandatory.
