Responsibilities



Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions with precision and artistry.
Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques tailored to each client’s needs.
Utilize salon software such as WIX/Square for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling retail sales with upselling strategies to maximize revenue.
Mentor junior team members and assist in store management tasks to foster a collaborative and professional environment.

Skills



Proficiency in hair styling techniques including blowouts, braiding, curling, and straight razor shaves.
Strong knowledge of color theory for creating vibrant or subtle color transformations.
Experience with hair extensions application and eyelash extensions for versatile beauty enhancements.
Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail operations.
Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals effectively.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Ability to upsell retail products such as hair care items, makeup products, and nail care essentials confidently.
Store management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the salon.
Skills in retail math for accurate inventory management and sales transactions.
Competence in front desk operations including appointment booking and client check-in procedures.
Passion for mentoring new team members to foster growth and skill development within the team.
