Position Overview


As a Hairstylist/Cosmetologist, you will provide expert hair services while delivering an outstanding client experience. From precision cuts and dimensional color to extensions and specialty beauty services, you will help clients look and feel their absolute best.

Responsibilities



Perform a full range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, balayage, and texturizing.
Create customized looks based on each client’s goals, hair type, and lifestyle.
Provide specialty services including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, threading, and nail care when qualified.
Educate clients on at-home maintenance and recommend professional products.
Drive retail sales through product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
Maintain the highest sanitation and cleanliness standards for tools and workstations.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to manage appointments, client records, and transactions.
Deliver exceptional customer service that builds long-term client relationships and repeat business.
Assist with front desk support, client check-in, and ensuring smooth daily salon operations.
Mentor and support junior team members by sharing technical skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications



Active Cosmetology or Barber License.
Proven experience in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and client consultation.
Strong knowledge of modern color techniques, hair treatments, and styling trends.
Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, threading, or other specialty services is a plus.
Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Sales-minded approach with the ability to recommend retail products and services confidently.
