Responsibilities
• Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to meet diverse client needs
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking
• Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail items, and styling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and promote upselling opportunities
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling client communication effectively
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair styling, coloring, barbering (including straight razor shaves), and customer service best practices

Qualifications
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of salon procedures and safety standards
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling, coloring, and grooming services
• Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment booking and retail management
• Skilled in a variety of techniques including hair coloring (color theory), hair extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients through active listening and personalized recommendations
• Ability to perform retail sales effectively through upselling techniques while maintaining a positive client experience
• Knowledge of store management principles to contribute to overall salon operations and team collaboration
