Duties



Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions to meet each client’s unique needs.
Perform specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance overall client satisfaction.
Utilize salon software like Meevo for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations.
Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales to support their beauty goals while upselling suitable items.
Provide expert consultation on color theory, hair care routines, and styling techniques to educate clients effectively.
Support store management with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries professionally.
Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques such as hair threading and straight razor shaving to foster skill development.
Manage retail math to optimize product sales and contribute to the overall profitability of the salon.
Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, barbering, and makeup application to deliver innovative looks that excite clients.

Qualifications



Valid state-issued cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of sanitation practices.
Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques like hair extensions and eyelash extensions.
Strong communication skills to effectively understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms.
Knowledge of color theory, retail sales strategies, and upselling techniques to enhance client experience and store revenue.
Ability to perform detailed services including hair threading, straight razor shaves, and nail care with precision.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters trust and loyalty among clients.
Willingness to mentor others while continuously expanding your skill set through ongoing education in cosmetology trends. Pay: $45.00 - $100.00 per hour
