Responsibilities



Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and hair threading with precision and creativity
Provide expert consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable treatments or products
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments
Upsell retail products like hair care, makeup, nail care items, and eyelash extensions to enhance client experience and salon revenue
Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and handling client check-ins/outs
Mentor junior staff or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering, or makeup application to foster team growth

Skills



Expertise in hair styling techniques including blowouts, braiding, curling, straightening with tools like the straight razor
Proficiency in color theory to achieve desired shades and effects safely and effectively
Experience with hair extensions installation and eyelash extensions application for diverse client needs
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their beauty goals
Familiarity with salon retail sales strategies and retail math to maximize product upselling opportunities
Ability to operate salon management software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and record keeping
Knowledge of nail care services is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is appreciated
Store management experience or leadership skills are advantageous for those interested in supervisory roles

Pay: $100.00 - $250.85 per day
