Duties
• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, using advanced techniques like balayage or ombré.
• Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable styles, treatments, and retail products aligned with client preferences.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling payments efficiently.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items, cosmetics, and accessories to boost sales while educating clients on their benefits

Experience
• Proven experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse hair styling techniques.
• Knowledge of color theory principles to create vibrant or subtle color transformations tailored to each client.
• Skilled in advanced services such as hair color, cuts, and razor shaves.
• Familiarity with salon management for scheduling and retail operations.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide exceptional customer service.
• Experience in retail sales with an understanding of retail math to maximize revenue opportunities through upselling.
• Certification in Cosmetology as required by state licensing laws; additional training in nail care or makeup application is a plus.
