Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and energetic Hairstylist/Cosmetologist to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair and beauty services, including styling, coloring, and treatments, while providing outstanding customer care. Your expertise will help clients look and feel their best, fostering a welcoming environment that emphasizes personalization and professionalism.

Duties
• Perform a variety of hair services such as cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extensions to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques.
• Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Offer additional beauty services such as makeup application, nail care, or hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
• Upsell retail products by educating clients on their benefits and appropriate use for ongoing hair health.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in store management tasks as needed to promote a cohesive team atmosphere.

Skills
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hairstyling and coloring work.
• Proficiency in salon software systems like Fresha for appointment booking and client management.
• Skilled in various techniques including hair coloring, hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures within a salon setting.
• Expertise in barbering skills such as straight razor shaves when applicable.
• Deep understanding of color theory to achieve desired results safely and creatively.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients effectively and building lasting relationships.
• Ability to upsell products confidently while providing exceptional customer service.

Pay: $250.00 - $1,500.00 per day
