Duties



Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments to meet client needs and preferences
Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading with precision and care
Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline operations
Advise clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling tips to enhance their overall experience
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations
Assist with retail sales by upselling hair care products, makeup items, nail care products, and accessories to clients
Support store management with front desk duties, client check-ins, and appointment confirmations while delivering outstanding customer service

Skills



Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring (with knowledge of color theory), and special treatments
Proficiency in salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Experience with barbering tools like straight razors for precision cuts when needed
Ability to perform advanced services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application
Strong communication skills to understand client desires and provide personalized recommendations
Retail sales acumen with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer relationships
Mentoring skills to support junior team members and foster a collaborative atmosphere
Store management capabilities including front desk operations and team coordination
Familiarity with retail math for inventory management and sales tracking
