Job Summary
We’re seeking a professional and motivated Hair Stylist to join our luxury Aveda salon in Hyde Park, Tampa. This is an opportunity for a stylist who is serious about their career, values a high-end guest experience, and is ready to grow within a supportive, goal-driven environment.

Requirements



Deliver exceptional hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments in alignment with Aveda standards
Provide thorough consultations, including clear and accurate pricing before beginning each service
Create a five-star guest experience through professionalism, attention to detail, and elevated service rituals
Build and maintain a loyal clientele through pre-booking, retention, and consistent guest communication
Recommend and prescribe professional products to support guest results and home care
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and uphold all salon cleanliness and sanitation standards
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and actively participate in ongoing education
Collaborate with team members to support a positive, professional, and growth-focused salon culture
Follow all salon policies, systems, and service protocols to ensure consistency and excellence
Manage time effectively to maintain an efficient, on-schedule appointment flow
Take ownership of your business behind the chair, including performance, growth, and guest satisfaction
Present a polished, professional appearance consistent with a luxury salon environment
Contribute to the overall salon experience by maintaining a welcoming, elevated atmosphere for every guest

Experience & Requirements



Active Florida Cosmetology License required
1+ years of experience behind the chair preferred
Strong skills in cutting, coloring, and styling; experience with blonding, balayage, or dimensional color is a plus
Confidence in performing consultations and recommending services and products
A passion for delivering a high-end, five-star guest experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
A team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
Willingness to learn, grow, and participate in ongoing education
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
