Duties
• Deliver professional hair styling, haircutting, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
• Use salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline operations efficiently.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to health regulations.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client loyalty and store revenue.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing bookings, and handling payments with retail math accuracy.
• Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair threading, color theory, and advanced styling methods to foster team growth.

Requirements
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in cutting, styling, and grooming techniques.
• Proficiency in hair extensions application, color theory, straight razor shaving, and makeup application.
• Knowledge of salon software platforms such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated expertise in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
• Ability to perform retail sales confidently through upselling products like hair care items or nail care products.
• Experience with retail math for inventory management and sales tracking is a plus.
• Skills in hair threading and eyelash extensions are desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided.
• Store management experience or mentoring skills are advantageous for leadership opportunities within the salon.
