The Role
Job Summary
Join our vibrant salon team as a Salon Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create an exceptional experience for every client. Duties
• Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in
• Prepare workstations by sanitizing tools and ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized according to sanitation standards
• Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products, and other beauty essentials through upselling techniques and retail math skills
• Maintain cleanliness of the salon environment, including sanitation of tools, chairs, and work areas in compliance with health regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering refreshments, and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out
Experience
• MUST BE A LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST
• Previous experience in a salon or barbering environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all technical skills
• Knowledge of hair styling techniques is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to perform retail sales with confidence while demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Basic understanding of sanitation practices within a beauty or grooming setting
