Hair Stylist Assistant/Apprentice

Established Hair Stylist/Colorist seeking an assistant to engage in providing outstanding service to an extensive client base! Applicant must be willing to further their education and career in doing hair. Great opportunity to learn techniques in coloring hair with brand named products. Will provide training.

Job Description
• Provide assistance with mixing color, shampooing, blow dry, styling, and any other services to be met
• Must be able to explain process, products, treatments and services to client-Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the day
• Willing to broaden knowledge about hair coloring and styling
• Payment transactions

Qualifications
• Must have California Cosmetology License!
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize!! Very important, workload everyday is continuous and fast-paced
• Able to follow directions but can also work independently and proactively
• Strong work ethic, punctual and reliable
• Positive and fun attitude!
• Updated knowledge of salon and beauty products
• Experience in salon environment but not required
• Maintain the concept of the brand
• Must be able to commit to work 3-4 days per week, some days may be 8-12 hours long.
