Solara The Salon is seeking a motivated, professional, and licensed Hair Assistant to join our growing team in beautiful Del Mar, California.

We are a luxury salon specializing in effortless, lived-in color, precision haircuts, extensions, and elevated guest experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed cosmetologist or an assistant looking to continue developing their technical skills while working alongside experienced stylists in a supportive, education-focused environment.

Responsibilities
• Assist stylists with color applications, shampoos, blowouts, and guest preparation
• Maintain salon cleanliness and organization throughout the day
• Prepare color formulas and support salon operations
• Provide exceptional customer service to every guest
• Help maintain retail displays and salon presentation
• Support front-of-house needs as needed
• Participate in salon education and training programs

Requirements
• Active California Cosmetology License (Required)
• Passion for the beauty industry and continued education
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Team-oriented mindset
