ABOUT HAIR PLAY CLUB

Hair Play Club is a new luxury wellness studio focused on sensory relaxation through intentional, gentle hair-based experiences.

We provide calming, one-on-one sessions designed to help clients relax, decompress, and experience comfort through touch-based sensory care.

These sessions include gentle hair brushing, scalp stimulation, light touch techniques, and a peaceful, quiet environment designed for nervous system relaxation.

We are not a salon.

We do not offer haircuts, coloring, chemical services, braiding, or hairstyling services.

This is a wellness and experience-based role, not a traditional beauty service position.

As a new business launch, team members will be part of building the foundation of the client experience, culture, and standards of Hair Play Club.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are hiring a Hair Play Specialist to deliver calming, sensory-focused relaxation sessions in a private, luxury setting.

This role is centered on presence, attentiveness, and emotional awareness. You will work one-on-one with clients to create a safe, comfortable, and deeply relaxing experience.

This is not a technical hair styling role. You will be trained in our specific Hair Play methods.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Provide one-on-one Hair Play relaxation sessions
• Perform gentle hair brushing and scalp stimulation techniques
• Maintain a calm, quiet, and welcoming environment
• Ensure each client feels safe, respected, and comfortable
• Prepare and reset treatment spaces between appointments
• Follow all training, safety, and client care protocols
• Maintain professionalism, boundaries, and discretion at all times
• Support the overall flow and experience of the studio

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

To be clear, this role does NOT include:
• Hair cutting or coloring
• Braiding or protective styling
• Blowouts or heat styling
• Chemical services
• Traditional salon services

This is a sensory wellness and relaxation experience role.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Comfortable with quiet, one-on-one client interaction
• Professional with strong boundaries
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Open to learning a new, structured client experience method
• Passionate about wellness, caregiving, beauty, hospitality, or service

EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSFERS WELL (NOT REQUIRED)
• Spa or wellness environments
• Massage therapy or esthetics
• Nursing or healthcare support roles
• Hospitality or luxury service
• Customer service roles
• Childcare or caregiving experience
• Beauty industry experience

No cosmetology license is required for this role.
