Responsibilities



Provide expert men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, straight razor shaves, and grooming services with precision and style
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline daily operations
Apply knowledge of color theory for hair coloring services tailored specifically for men’s styles and preferences
Perform hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care treatments to enhance client satisfaction
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styling options or retail products
Upsell retail items like hair care products, grooming essentials, makeup applications, and retail math techniques to boost sales
Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling payments efficiently
Mentor junior stylists by sharing techniques in hair threading, makeup application, and store management best practices
Foster excellent communication skills to ensure clients feel heard and valued during every visit

Qualifications



Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in men's grooming services
Proficiency in hair styling techniques including fades, tapers, straight razor shaves, and beard grooming
Knowledge of salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
Familiarity with sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment at all times
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships
Experience with retail sales strategies including upselling and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities
Ability to perform additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading is a plus
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with industry trends in men's grooming and styling
