Responsibilities
• Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
• Perform precise barbering services including straight razor shaves and beard trimming with attention to detail
• Assist clients with hair extensions, threading, and specialized hair care treatments to enhance their look and confidence
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations
• Use salon management software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
• Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their desired results and offer professional recommendations
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair coloring techniques, color theory, and advanced styling methods
• Stay current on industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to continually elevate service quality

Skills
• Expertise in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and traditional grooming styles
• Strong knowledge of hair coloring processes and color theory principles for customized results
• Experience working in the beauty industry
• Skilled in hair extensions application, threading, and advanced hair styling techniques
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
• Ability to manage retail sales effectively through upselling strategies while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Deep understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment at all times
• Knowledge of store management practices including retail math for inventory control and sales tracking
• Passion for mentoring colleagues to foster skill development within the team
