The Role
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned, high-level hairstylist who takes pride in their craft and builds lasting client relationships. Our salon sees more than 250 guests a month, and many of those clients are specifically asking for an advanced stylist. This is an opportunity to step into real demand—not start from scratch.
This role is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. Weekend availability is required so we can serve our busiest days with consistency and care. If you have a polished technical skill set and a professional, team-oriented attitude, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand goals, hair history, lifestyle, and desired results.
- Perform cuts, color, highlights, balayage, styling, treatments, and other salon services at a high professional standard.
- Build, retain, and grow a loyal clientele through quality work and excellent service.
- Maintain a clean, organized station and follow sanitation and safety standards.
- Recommend retail products and home-care routines that support the service result.
- Work collaboratively with the salon team and support a welcoming guest experience.
- Keep accurate client records and stay current on trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
- Be available to work weekends as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Valid state cosmetology or hairstylist license (required).
- Proven experience as a working stylist; seasoned / established professionals preferred.
- Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, and finishing.
- Professional appearance, reliable attendance, and excellent communication.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Existing clientele is a plus but not required.
