Experienced Barber

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate licensed Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and hair styling, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for clients. This position requires proficiency in various cutting techniques, including straight razor shaves, as well as the ability to manage front desk operations and retail sales. Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and styling.
• Utilize straight razors and other tools to achieve desired styles while ensuring client safety.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized shop, including workstations and common areas, in accordance with health regulations.
• Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and greeting clients.
• Assist with retail sales of hair care products and tools.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring a top-tier experience.
• Collaborate with and support team members to maintain a positive, professional atmosphere.
• Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized after each use.

Requirements
• A valid barber or cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the workspace.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
