Role Description The Esthetics Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Forestville, MD. This position is responsible for delivering esthetics and skincare instruction in classroom and practical lab settings, guiding learners through theory, techniques, and professional standards. Day-to-day tasks include planning and teaching lessons, demonstrating procedures, supervising hands-on practice, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation regulations. The instructor will assess learner performance, provide constructive feedback, maintain accurate records, and support learners in meeting program and licensing requirements. Collaboration with other staff on curriculum improvements, educational resources, and program activities is also expected.

Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Cosmetology and Skin Care, with the ability to demonstrate and explain professional techniques clearly.
• Teaching and Training skills to instruct diverse learner groups, manage classroom dynamics, and support different learning styles.
• Experience in Curriculum Development, including creating lesson plans, assessments, and structured learning activities.
• Relevant state licensure or certification in Esthetics or Cosmetology, with eligibility to teach in Maryland.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to a respectful, inclusive, and learner-centered environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in recordkeeping and schedule management.
• Previous instructional or mentoring experience in a beauty school or related setting is preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and standards.
