• 36 - 40 hours per week (36 hrs qualifies as full-time for benefits)
• We are hiring 1 new full-time instructor. We are looking for someone that is well-rounded in ALL aspects of Esthetics.
• The candidate needs 5 years licensure as an Esthetician (minimum).
• The schedule will change each week but will be created 1 - 2 months ahead of time. 2 Saturdays per month & then weekdays, 9:30a - 6:30p. Typically, 4 days working & 3 days off. The focus will be teaching & supervising at our Clinics, all In-Person.
• Full-Time: Hourly pay $37 - $39/hour, commensurate with experience

Job Overview: We have a hybrid learning experience-online learning along with student-to-student Clinics where students work on each other practicing what we taught online. As a Full-Time Esthetics Instructor, your role is to supervise Clinics, and to inspire our students to become amazing, unique professional Estheticians. This role is entirely in-person at our Clinic.

You will need to be great at guiding students, keeping student attention, being intuitive and aware to the needs of the students and classroom direction, managing and responding to student questions, and being patient with students and their learning process.

In addition, you will need to be current and jazzed about the Esthetics industry to help keep other team members and students abreast of changes and exciting aspects of the industry. You will work our Clinics with another Instructor. Those days are typically 9 hour days, 9:30a - 6:30p.

You need to know ALL aspects of a foundational esthetics program: Makeup, Facials, Waxing, Machines, Product Knowledge, State Boards, Retailing, Business/Ethics, Body Treatments, & Lash & Brow Tinting. In addition, you need to be certified in these Advanced Esthetics topics: Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, & Microneedling from an approved school.

Requirements:

-Current Colorado Esthetics License held for at least 5 continuous years

-Esthetics Work Experience for at least 5 continuous years

-Certificate or Diploma from an Approved Esthetics School having completed 600 Hours of educational training in a core esthetics program

-Certified in Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, & Microneedling

Additional Abilities Preferred:

-Previous teaching experience in a classroom or clinical setting

-Working knowledge of leading a Zoom Call & Class

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

-Working knowledge of Mac/Apple computers and products

-Experience working with Dropbox

Our parent school, the Denver Integrative Massage School, started in 2010 and our Esthetics program, The School of Botanical & Medical Aesthetics, has been running since 2012! We also have an Herbalism program that began in 2014.

The team currently consists of 6 Aesthetics instructors.
