Role Description The Esthetician role at Pure Silk Beauty is a part-time, on-site position located in Upper Arlington, OH. The Esthetician will perform professional skincare services, including facials, basic skin treatments, and hair removal procedures in a safe and hygienic manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with customers about their skincare needs, recommending appropriate products and services, and demonstrating proper use of cosmetics and skincare items. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized treatment area, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting retail sales through product education, services, and tailored product suggestions.

Qualifications
• Professional skincare expertise, including Skin Care treatments and Hair Removal services.
• Foundational Cosmetology knowledge, with an understanding of beauty and cosmetic products and applications.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide personalized consultations.
• Sales skills to recommend products confidently, support retail goals, and handle point-of-sale interactions.
• Relevant esthetician or cosmetology license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Attention to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in all treatments and product usage.
• Ability to work flexible part-time schedules, including evenings and weekends, as needed in a retail environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team setting.
• Prior experience in a spa, salon, or beauty retail environment is an advantage.
• Current Lash Extension Certification
