Esthetician - Licensed

Nestea Recruiting is recruiting on behalf of DermaVe SPA for a Licensed Esthetician position at its Jacksonville, Florida medical spa location.

This is an in-person treatment role in a medical spa setting. The Licensed Esthetician will provide approved non-invasive aesthetic services on site under the supervision of a licensed Medical Director.

This is a W-2 employee position with DermaVe SPA in Jacksonville, Florida.

Pay, Hours, and Availability
• Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour
• Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week
• Workdays: Up to 4 days per week
• Shift Length: 8 to 10 hours per shift
• Preferred Availability: Sunday availability is preferred

Typical operating hours may include:
• Sunday: 11:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Final schedule details will be reviewed during the hiring process based on business needs and candidate availability.

Licenses and Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Active Florida Facial Specialist License, current and in good standing with the Florida Board of Cosmetology
• Active Florida Laser License or laser certification valid for practice in the State of Florida
• At least 600 documented training hours
• Ability to work in person at the Jacksonville, FL location
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to follow sanitation, documentation, treatment, and supervision requirements

Scope of Approved Services

Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Licensed Esthetician may perform approved services based on licensing, training, certification, and employer protocols.

Approved services may include:
• Full-service facial treatments
• Chemical peels, including superficial and approved medical-grade peels as trained
• Microneedling or derma-needling services as permitted and approved
• Dermaplaning
• Non-invasive facial cryotherapy
• Radio frequency treatments for the face
• Radio frequency treatments for the body
• Body cavitation treatments
• Additional non-invasive aesthetic services as trained and approved by the employer

The selected candidate must perform only services authorized by their license, certification, documented training, and DermaVe’s workplace guidelines.

Day-to-Day Duties

The Licensed Esthetician will help maintain a professional, clean, and client-focused treatment environment.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing treatment rooms before scheduled appointments
• Maintaining clean, organized, and sanitary work areas
• Reviewing client goals and treatment information within the scope of the role
• Performing approved aesthetic services safely and professionally
• Following sanitation, documentation, and treatment protocols
• Communicating clearly with clients, leadership, and support staff
• Maintaining client privacy and handling client information appropriately
• Arriving on time and maintaining a dependable work schedule
• Supporting a positive and structured medical spa environment

Hourly Pay Notice

This position pays hourly wages only.

At this time, health insurance, paid time off, retirement benefits, bonuses, commissions, and other additional compensation are not offered for this role.
