Duties
• Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair extension services using current techniques and color theory principles
• Perform skincare treatments including dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin injections, and body waxing
• Apply makeup for special occasions or photo shoots with precision and creativity
• Deliver eyelash extensions, eyebrow threading, and other facial grooming services to enhance natural beauty
• Conduct retail sales by recommending products during guest consultations and product demos to maximize client satisfaction and revenue
• Manage guest services at the front desk, including scheduling appointments using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY
• Maintain strict sanitation standards for all tools and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations
• Utilize social media management skills to promote services, showcase client transformations, and engage with the community online
• Upsell additional treatments or products to enhance client experience and increase sales opportunities
• Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, nail care, tattooing, med spa treatments, and other cosmetic procedures

Requirements
• Valid cosmetology license or certification recognized by state licensing boards
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques; additional skills in barbering or straight razor shaves are a plus
• Knowledge of advanced cosmetic procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox injections, esthetic laser treatments, and body waxing
• Familiarity with salon management software like Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client records
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
• Ability to perform sanitation procedures meticulously to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Experience with social media management for marketing purposes is desirable
• Competency in retail sales techniques with an emphasis on upselling products and services
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude that promotes guest loyalty
• Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends as needed
