Duties
• Provide high-quality hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
• Utilize salon software to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process payments efficiently or collect payment with your own app.
• Perform specialized treatments including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools like straight razors and adhering to health regulations
• Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, offering personalized consultations and building lasting relationships
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to boost sales and meet store management goals
• Mentor junior team members or apprentices when needed, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and skill development

Qualifications
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, coloring, barbering, or related services. Cosmetology license.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards within a salon setting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients
• Demonstrated ability in retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities
• Skills in advanced techniques such as hair extensions, hair coloring (including color theory), makeup application, nail care, and hair threading are highly desirable
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulations

Pay: $22.36 - $26.93 per hour
