The Role
Job Summary

Duties
• Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions with precision and artistry
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process payments efficiently
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools like straight razors and adhering to health regulations
• Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable hair care routines or retail products
• Upsell retail items such as hair care products or nail care essentials to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling retail sales with excellent communication skills
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in store management, color theory, barbering techniques, and customer service best practices
Experience
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barbering professional
• Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques and hair care products
• Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
• Experience performing hair extensions and eyelash extensions is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with clients and understanding their needs
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high sanitation standards
• Knowledge of retail math, upselling strategies, and store management principles is advantageous
