Barber – Booth Rental or Commission

Responsibilities
• Provide professional barbering services including haircutting, shaving, beard trimming, and grooming using straight razors and other tools.
• Perform specialized hair treatments such as hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair styling to meet client preferences.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, adhering to health regulations and safety protocols.
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Engage with clients through excellent customer service, offering consultations, product recommendations, and upselling retail items such as hair care products or nail care items.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Mentor junior team members or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty services.

Requirements
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry.
• Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.
• Skilled in hair coloring, styling, barbering techniques including straight razor shaves, and applying hair extensions.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures to ensure client safety.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Experience in retail sales and upselling to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Familiarity with store management practices is a plus for those interested in overseeing daily operations or mentoring staff.
