Role Description This contract Barber role is an on-site position based at 4th Street Barberroom, LLC in Buckeye, AZ. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing hair cutting, styling, and grooming services, consulting with clients to understand their preferences, and delivering consistent, high-quality results. The Barber will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations, adhere to health and safety regulations, and manage appointment schedules and walk-in clients. Additional tasks include recommending appropriate hair care products, supporting a friendly and professional shop atmosphere, and contributing to a positive customer experience. The role may also involve assisting with basic shop upkeep and collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications
• Strong Barbering and Hair Cutting skills, with the ability to execute a variety of classic and modern styles.
• Proficiency in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including recommendations tailored to different hair types and textures.
• Foundational knowledge of Cosmetology principles relevant to barber services and grooming best practices.
• Valid state barber or cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain, as required by Arizona regulations).
• Commitment to hygiene and sanitation standards, including proper tool sterilization and workstation cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliability in managing appointments, time, and client flow; ability to work on-site during agreed contract hours.
• Previous barbershop or salon experience is preferred; experience with razor shaves and beard grooming is a plus.
