Job Overview

As a Cosmetologist Hair Stylist, you’ll help clients look and feel their best through thoughtful consultations and skilled hair care. You’ll recommend styles and services that fit each client’s preferences, explain options clearly, and create a welcoming salon experience. Duties
• Consult with clients about hair goals, assess their needs, and communicate service recommendations
• Provide hair styling, and coloring services
• Apply cosmetology and color theory knowledge to select techniques and products suited to each client
• Maintain clean tools and work areas, follow sanitation practices, and use salon software such as Boulevard to manage appointments and client records
• Support retail sales through relevant product recommendations and upselling; assist with store management, retail math, and mentoring when needed

Qualifications
• Cosmetology training and any license required for the services performed under applicable local regulations
• Experience working in the beauty industry, with hands-on knowledge of hair care, hair styling, and hair coloring
• Strong customer service, communication, and client communication skills

Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
