We're looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist who approaches bodywork as a healing art someone who brings presence, sensitivity, and intuitive care alongside technical .Experience or training in Abhyanga (Ayurvedic oil massage) is a major plus

Available Shifts — Choose One or More

We're hiring for specific shifts rather than open-ended availability. This can start as a single weekly shift we're happy to add a second one later if it's a good fit for both of us.

Preferred days: Tuesday & Thursday

Also open to: Wednesday, or Friday, if one of those fits your schedule better

Time blocks:
• Morning: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM (we'll lock in an exact 3-hour window within this range together)

Weekly continuity in your chosen day(s) and time block is strongly preferred we'd love a therapist who can hold the same slot every week but this is not required to apply.

Ideal Candidate
• Already maintains their own part-time practice or client base and wants to add a, low-commute shift or two
• Lives within about 15–20 minutes of Mission Hills, San Diego (92103) commute time is a real priority for this role
• Practices massage as a genuine wellness modality, not purely a technical or spa-style service
• Experience or training in Abhyanga (Ayurvedic oil massage) is a major plus
• Naturally intuitive, calm, and emotionally aware; comfortable holding safe therapeutic space
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in presentation

Basic Qualifications
• Valid California massage certification (CAMTC)
• Strong understanding of anatomy and therapeutic technique
• Professional communication and emotional maturity
• Commitment to hygiene, cleanliness, and professional presentation

Your Role
• Provide personalized, wellness-focused therapeutic massage sessions
• Conduct thoughtful client assessments and offer gentle post-treatment guidance
• Maintain an immaculate, peaceful treatment environment
• Collaborate respectfully with AyurVida's holistic care team
• Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
• Maintain detailed documentation of client treatments, progress, and health history in compliance with privacy regulations
• Educate clients on self-care practices, pain management strategies, and occupational health tips to support ongoing wellness
• Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety standards, including CPR certification and proper sanitation protocols
• Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care when necessary
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and physiology knowledge

Qualifications
• Valid licensure as a Massage and Bodywork Therapist in accordance with state or regional requirements
• Proven experience in massage therapy, especially in medical spa or occupational health settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pain management techniques, and patient assessment methods
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients
• Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities highly desirable

Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
