Duties
• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions to meet client needs and preferences.
• Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques tailored to each client.
• Conduct consultations to understand client goals and educate them on suitable treatments such as hair coloring, threading, eyelash extensions, or nail care.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Manage appointments efficiently using salon software like MINDBODY, ensuring smooth scheduling and client flow.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items, makeup products, and accessories to enhance the client experience and increase sales.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in barbering, makeup application, or retail sales strategies.
• Handle front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing check-ins/outs, and answering client inquiries with excellent communication skills.

Skills
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques and color theory to achieve desired results safely.
• Skilled in barbering with experience using straight razors for precision grooming.
• Expertise in various hair treatments including extensions, threading, eyelash extensions, and nail care.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationships.
• Deep understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining professionalism.
• Experience working in the beauty industry with a comprehensive understanding of cosmetology standards.
• Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of store management principles to contribute to overall salon operations effectively.
