Role Description The Independent Hairstylist role at MAISON SALON DEUX is a full-time, on-site position located in San Mateo, CA. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients, providing haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments, and recommending appropriate hair care products and routines. The hairstylist will manage their appointment schedule, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and ensure that tools and equipment meet hygiene and safety standards. The role involves building long-term client relationships through attentive customer service, effective communication, and a professional, welcoming demeanor. The hairstylist will collaborate with other salon professionals to support a cohesive, client-centered environment and may participate in ongoing education to stay current with trends and techniques.

Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Hair Styling and Hair Care skills, including cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques for diverse hair types.
• Candidates should possess formal training or certification in Cosmetology and a current state cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain one in California).
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to create positive client experiences and foster repeat business.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for effective client consultations and collaboration with team members.
