PT Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as experience in various massage techniques. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. The Massage Therapist will work in a supportive environment that values patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and create personalized treatment plans.
• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and organized.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices.
• Document treatment sessions accurately, including client progress and any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to enhance patient care.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients.

Skills
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Excellent patient assessment skills to tailor treatments effectively.
• Comprehensive understanding of anatomy to ensure safe and effective treatments.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
• Ability to manage pain through effective therapeutic techniques.
• Experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not required.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
